Services the Institute Will Provide

Monitor state and federal actions that deal with renewables, become a party to those proceedings and focus on a competitive market prospective in the discussions and direction established.  Keep Institute membership apprised of developments via web-site postings and email.

Recommend and promote the establishment or continuation of state and federal actions to encourage the compatibility of renewable energy definitions and trading across state lines.

Provide newsletters and position papers in support of the developing competitive renewable energy marketplace. 

Provide and initiate other means of support for developers, OEM's, suppliers to encourage the promotion and use of renewables.

Establish and support operational and ad hoc committees populated by members to work on or to support issues or proceedings dealing with renewable energy markets.

Hold meetings of interest to members that support appropriate market positions.

As suggested and requested by members, issue RFP's and award contracts for R&D for work on renewable issues of concern as deemed appropriate by the membership.

Showcase renewable projects and capabilities of members in the marketplace.

Host conferences targeted at specific market applications or concerns.

Act as a central repository on market information on developing renewable energy markets.

Hold national and international conferences supporting the development, consistency and liquidity of renewable markets.
